Reflection: What Socrates means is your name is a jewel so take care of it as if it were a real jewel. Love that jewel and always choose the right so you and your “jewel” can be known as a good person. Cherish what you have, and value it because you are going to be known for something, why not something good? I like the meaning of this quote because it teaches people values and morals.
